Responsibilities
- Shape the product vision for a centralized data science platform in collaboration with data science teams across gaming divisions
- Partner with leadership to align data engineering priorities with business goals and player-focused outcomes
- Define and manage a high-impact roadmap for data science initiatives, prioritizing use cases like player retention and content personalization
- Lead a central team of data scientists in developing models for fraud detection, matchmaking, and dynamic content systems
- Develop reusable machine learning models and feature pipelines using platforms such as Databricks, MLflow, and SageMaker
- Ensure integration of data science solutions with real-time data systems to support live operations and streaming analytics
- Build self-service tools that empower game teams to deploy and test AI models independently
- Support the development and scaling of a centralized feature store for machine learning
- Monitor production model performance and apply MLOps practices for continuous improvement
- Establish governance policies to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA
- Collaborate with studio data scientists to deliver timely, data-driven solutions aligned with project timelines
- Bridge technical teams and product groups to ensure model outputs drive actionable business insights
- Foster a culture of experimentation using A/B testing, predictive modeling, and personalization systems to improve game design and engagement
