Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to establish project goals, timelines, and resource needs.
- Translate project objectives into manageable work units and ensure they are documented and monitored within development plans.
- Act as the primary technical contact between project teams and stakeholders such as project managers, business representatives, and QA groups.
- Promote clear communication, coordinate interdependencies, deliver regular updates, resolve issues quickly, and foster teamwork.
- Lead a distributed team of technical consultants across onshore and offshore locations, building a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Offer expert technical direction in architecture, design, code reviews, documentation, and adherence to project execution standards.
- Maintain project knowledge and documentation throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Interact with technical stakeholders to collect input, clarify needs, and align expectations.
- Work with Project Managers to keep stakeholders updated on progress, risks, and scope changes through regular status reporting.
- Detect and address technical risks, obstacles, and challenges, escalating them to the Project Manager as needed.
- Work with technical teams to gather insights and assess solutions for risk mitigation.
- Recognize potential scope changes and communicate them proactively to the Project Manager.
- Develop detailed technical scopes, estimates, and resource plans for change requests.
- Ensure quality standards are met by collaborating with QA teams on test strategies, plan reviews, and coverage validation.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving defects and system performance problems.
- Keep current with industry advancements, technologies, and best practices to improve internal processes and migration approaches.
- Encourage ongoing learning and professional growth within the technical team.
- Monitor emerging technologies, market shifts, and industry trends.
- Disseminate knowledge through publications, blogs, webinars, or public speaking.
- Support pre-sales activities by providing technical insight and expertise.
- Partner with business development and account teams to define client needs, design custom solutions, and contribute to proposals.
