Responsibilities
- Lead and manage remote and on-site Elastic consulting projects to ensure clients achieve maximum benefit from Elastic technologies.
- Design and deploy Elastic-based systems with emphasis on scalable architecture, solution planning, and resource forecasting in high-stakes settings.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, fostering strong relationships through clear communication and collaborative problem-solving.
- Create and deliver demonstrations and proof-of-concept implementations that highlight the capabilities and business value of the Elastic Stack.
- Perform data modeling, construct efficient queries, and optimize cluster performance for large-scale search and analytics platforms.
- Partner with fellow consultants to resolve advanced technical issues in a cooperative, team-driven setting.
- Evaluate and sign off on technical reports that document project results, insights, and suggested next steps.
- Guide junior consultants through training initiatives, mentoring sessions, and hands-on shadowing opportunities.
- Take part in technical evaluations to help identify and hire qualified new team members.
- Operate successfully in a distributed, remote-first work environment, with occasional in-person engagements as needed.

- Expect initial remote work for approximately one year, followed by potential on-site assignments or travel requirements.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, such as Security+, or equivalent intermediate-level compliant certification is mandatory and must be acquired within 30 days of start date if not already in possession.
