Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy Microsoft-based server environments, security frameworks, network sharing resources, communication protocols, access techniques, and security hardware within cloud or hosted infrastructures
- Maintain physical and virtual servers including regular patching cycles and backup integrity checks using Dell systems, Hyper-V 2008/2012, VMware 5/6, AWS, Veeam, and Nagios monitoring tools
- Support Windows Server 2008–2012, Linux platforms, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, DFS, file shares, Sophos and Symantec antivirus solutions, Office 365, laptop provisioning, and audiovisual equipment
- Provide technical support for desktop operating systems including Windows 7, macOS, Microsoft Office suites, and Zoom video conferencing applications
- Collaborate with business and IT teams during planning, development, and deployment phases to deliver scalable and resilient technical solutions
- Explain intricate technical architectures and resolutions in straightforward, accessible language for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Communicate clearly and effectively through spoken interactions, team meetings, and written documentation such as requirements and design specs
- Track, assign, and manage project tasks, activities, documentation, and timekeeping data with precision
- Evaluate and document potential risks linked to system designs and project implementations
- Contribute to the professional and technical growth of team members through mentorship and knowledge sharing
- Travel may be required on an occasional basis when project needs arise
- Carry out other job-related responsibilities as assigned by management
