Spreedly is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you will focus on the reliability, security, and automation of the infrastructure supporting our critical payments platform. You will collaborate with a globally distributed engineering team.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and improve the reliability, security, and performance of our infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.
- Manage and secure cloud resources across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
- Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response and post-mortems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable and resilient systems.
- Contribute to infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and internal tooling.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
- Proven experience managing production infrastructure in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Ruby).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote, global team.
- Experience with on-call duties and incident management processes.
Nice to Have
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with security best practices and compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, SOC 2).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus).
- Experience with networking and database administration.
- Experience in the payments or fintech industry.
