MOIA is hiring a (Senior) Systems Architect (ECU) - Autonomous Driving (all genders)

About the Role

The role involves leading the architectural design of ECU systems within autonomous driving technology, focusing on system integration, functional safety, and cross-domain coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Define system architecture for electronic control units in autonomous vehicles
  • Ensure alignment of hardware and software components across subsystems
  • Lead technical integration of ECU functionalities within the vehicle platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define interface requirements
  • Develop and maintain system-level specifications for ECU modules
  • Support functional safety analysis in line with ISO 26262 standards
  • Evaluate and select appropriate hardware platforms for ECU development
  • Drive system validation and verification processes for ECU components
  • Ensure compliance with automotive safety integrity levels
  • Manage requirements traceability from system to component level
  • Coordinate with software architects to align ECU capabilities with application needs
  • Analyze performance, reliability, and scalability of ECU systems
  • Lead root cause analysis for system-level issues in ECU integration
  • Define diagnostic and communication strategies for ECU networks
  • Support over-the-air update mechanisms for ECU firmware
  • Ensure cybersecurity principles are applied in ECU design
  • Work closely with testing teams to validate ECU behavior under real-world conditions
  • Develop technical documentation for system architecture and interfaces
  • Participate in design reviews and technical decision-making forums
  • Stay current with advancements in automotive ECU technologies and standards
