Barbaricum is hiring a Senior Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage Windows workstation provisioning solutions using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) or Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
  • Create and sustain automated task sequences for consistent operating system rollouts.
  • Construct, update, and package Windows system images using Sysprep and WIM capture methods.
  • Manage and enforce Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and configuration baselines across enterprise networks.
  • Track hardware and software configurations to maintain system stability and adherence to security policies.
  • Use PowerShell scripts to streamline administrative and deployment workflows.
  • Support and update Windows deployment tools, including Windows ADK and WinPE environments.
  • Produce and keep current system architecture documentation, deployment guides, and configuration standards.
  • Deliver technical support and training to users on mission-critical systems and applications.
  • Work with cybersecurity teams and engineers to align systems with Department of Defense security standards.

  • This role requires at least three days per week onsite.
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is mandatory.
  • Candidates must obtain and retain a DoD 8570 Advanced certification.
  • Provides systems engineering support to the Maneuver, Surveillance, & Engagement Division at NSWC Crane.
