Responsibilities
- Design and manage enterprise-grade virtualization platforms using VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V across both hyper-converged and traditional SAN-based data center architectures.
- Maintain high levels of availability, performance, scalability, security, and reliability in virtualized environments through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
- Lead infrastructure lifecycle operations including upgrades, migrations, patching, and integration with cloud and hybrid services.
- Work cross-functionally with SRE, DevOps, networking, L2 support, and remote operations teams to resolve critical incidents and improve system resilience.
- Optimize enterprise storage, backup, disaster recovery, and SAN solutions in alignment with industry best practices for vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, Hyper-V, and SCVMM.
- Advance automation and operational efficiency by evaluating current systems, creating scripts, identifying improvements, and maintaining accurate technical documentation.
