About the Role
We are looking for an experienced system engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and services. The candidate will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate cloud-native platforms using modern infrastructure-as-code practices
- Collaborate with developers to support application deployment and lifecycle management
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and service issues efficiently
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions
- Maintain documentation for systems and operational procedures
- Support incident response and participate in on-call rotations
- Optimize cloud resource usage and cost efficiency
- Integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure
- Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies aligned with team goals
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
- Contribute to automation of operational tasks and workflows
- Assist in migration of legacy systems to cloud-native environments
- Work with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
- Support hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure setups
- Promote knowledge sharing within the engineering team
- Ensure compliance with operational and security standards
- Collaborate on disaster recovery and backup strategies
- Engage in peer reviews of configurations and code
- Support continuous improvement of operational processes
Nice to Have
- Experience with OpenStack or similar open-source cloud platforms
- Involvement in open-source communities or projects
- Certifications in cloud or DevOps technologies
- Background in site reliability engineering
- Knowledge of GitOps workflows
- Experience with service mesh implementations
- Familiarity with policy-as-code tools
- Contributions to technical documentation or public speaking
