Responsibilities
- Design and implement storage solutions including SAN, NAS, DAS, and object storage aligned with business requirements.
- Ensure high performance, availability, and reliability through continuous monitoring and maintenance of storage systems.
- Conduct capacity planning and predict future storage demands to support growth and scalability.
- Create and manage backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies to protect data integrity.
- Diagnose and resolve storage-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Keep accurate records of system configurations, operational procedures, and technical standards.
- Work closely with Platform Engineering teams during system upgrades, data migrations, and technology integrations.
- Automate storage provisioning and administrative tasks using scripting or infrastructure-as-code practices.
