About the Role
You will play a key role in designing and developing backend services and microservices for the Lifecare Data Platform on Azure. The role involves building production-grade services on Kubernetes and designing data pipelines in Databricks, often within the same sprint. While expertise across all areas isn't required, strong skills in at least one domain and genuine curiosity for others are essential. You'll collaborate with a diverse team of top-tier developers and domain experts in a continuously evolving environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend systems and microservices for the Lifecare Data Platform hosted on Azure.
- Develop and maintain production-level services deployed on Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Create and optimize data processing pipelines using Databricks.
- Collaborate in an agile team setting, participating in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Requirements
- Solid experience in Java and JVM-based software development.
- Proven background with Spring Boot and RESTful API design.
- Hands-on proficiency in SQL and relational data modeling.
- Familiarity with distributed data processing, particularly Apache Spark.
- Strong communication abilities, especially in English, both written and verbal.

- Experience with Scala or Python in data engineering or analytics contexts.
- Prior work with Azure, Databricks, or Terraform is advantageous.

Compensation
