Responsibilities
- Lead the long-term technical vision and architectural strategy for critical trading platform components, ensuring consistency with business objectives and operational reliability
- Drive the planning and execution of complex, cross-team technical initiatives with high ambiguity and broad system impact
- Diagnose and resolve key performance constraints across the trading infrastructure, applying advanced Java-based optimizations for low-latency and high-throughput operations
- Act as the principal technical expert for core trading systems and Java performance, offering guidance, conducting code reviews, and mentoring engineers at all levels
- Monitor advancements in technology and industry practices, including concurrency and hardware acceleration, to recommend innovations that strengthen platform capabilities
- Architect robust, fault-tolerant systems and promote best-in-class practices in monitoring, incident management, alerting, and post-incident analysis for critical services
- Work closely with stakeholders to convert strategic business requirements into scalable, efficient technical implementations and influence product planning through technical insight
- Promote and uphold rigorous standards in software design, development, testing, and deployment across multiple engineering teams
