Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain real-time software components critical to autonomous operations within the vehicle stack.
- Partner with research engineers to create software designs that are maintainable, testable, and resilient.
- Collaborate with the Controls team to design and deploy control and optimization strategies using simulation and real-world vehicle testing.
- Enable fast iteration of new control methods using software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
- Engage in tuning, calibration, and on-vehicle validation processes to ensure system accuracy and reliability.
- Assist in visualizing and analyzing test data through post-processing techniques.
- Work cross-functionally with planning, localization, drive-by-wire, and testing teams to ensure secure and efficient integration of software components.
