Responsibilities
- Design and manage secure hybrid and multi-cloud network infrastructures across public clouds and on-prem environments, applying zero-trust principles and network segmentation with documented policies and architectural blueprints
- Operate and maintain advanced firewall systems, handling rule sets, network address translation, content filtering, encryption inspection, and threat mitigation configurations
- Lead the development and support of modern remote connectivity solutions, including zero-trust network access and encrypted site-to-site links, with strong identity integration and uptime guarantees
- Develop automation frameworks using Infrastructure-as-Code tools, scripting languages, and API-driven workflows to enforce security consistency and reduce manual processes, incorporating AI-assisted technologies where applicable
- Oversee continuous network protection operations, including real-time monitoring, traffic inspection, threat identification, risk assessment, and corrective actions, while ensuring alignment with regulatory standards
- Manage secure network access controls using 802.1X and digital certificates across wired and wireless networks to enforce device and user authentication
- Guide strategic planning for the security networking function, provide technical mentorship, and collaborate with engineering and operations teams on enterprise-wide security initiatives
