Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operations and data science teams to advance machine learning and retrieval-augmented generation prototypes into stable, production-grade systems.
- Deploy, refine, and scale high-capacity computer vision and vision-language models to enhance trust and safety through improved fraud detection and luxury item verification.
- Design and implement end-to-end systems for managing data, tracking features, registering models, and enabling reliable model deployment and monitoring.
- Build scalable infrastructure with automated retraining pipelines supporting varied update frequencies, resilient multi-model designs, and cost-efficient tooling decisions.
- Serve as a founding technical leader in machine learning engineering, establishing standards and practices to grow the organization's AI capabilities.
- Evolve into a central technical role providing cross-domain support and mentorship across search, discovery, pricing, marketing, and data platforms.
