Responsibilities
- Design and manage Kubernetes clusters along with associated tooling
- Develop and support internal tools and services used by engineering teams
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, which is widely adopted in the environment
- Diagnose and resolve system-level and production issues across the technology stack
- Design and implement core platform components, such as modernized logging systems and intelligent auto-scaling features
- Operate and support a range of existing systems within the AWS ecosystem
- Collaborate with developers to enhance organizational workflows through technical insight
- Serve as a technical authority in areas relevant to ongoing projects and initiatives
- Take part in an on-call schedule with a focus on improving the on-call experience
