Laserfiche is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collect business requirements, convert them into solution designs and delivery plans, and take ownership of building and testing the solution from start to finish.
• Take responsibility for technical documentation for each project, including system documentation, end-user documentation, and test plans.
• Provide troubleshooting, training, and support to customers.
• Serve as the escalation point for project challenges and keep stakeholders updated on issues and potential solutions.
• Conduct design, scoping, and technical reviews for other active and potential projects.
• Share expertise with the team through mentorship, presentations at internal forums, and contributions to knowledge bases.
• Identify and act on opportunities to build or improve internal solutions and tools that enhance team effectiveness.
• Use AI tools daily to increase personal productivity, verify outputs before relying on them, and share effective practices with the team.
• Identify where AI and agentic automation can enhance solutions, and lead with a prototype when building one is more cost-effective than holding a meeting about it.
• Help define responsible and effective AI practices for the organization, including determining where human oversight is needed, what guardrails agents operate within, and how to verify their actions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of technical experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in solutions engineering, professional services, presales, or other consultative positions.
• 4+ years of experience working with SaaS, enterprise software, cloud, or similar platforms.
• 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with common integration patterns such as REST APIs and webhooks, and proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably .NET/C#, JavaScript, or SQL).
• Ability to learn, understand, and communicate complex technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.

Nice to Have

• Experience with content management and/or low-code/no-code automation platforms.
• Hands-on experience deploying agentic AI and related technologies such as MCP servers, with curiosity and motivation to continue learning as the field evolves.
• A track record of applying AI and agentic automation in real delivery, with examples of shipped work that can be discussed.
• Experience with application development and modern software development lifecycles.
• Experience with information security standards or compliance frameworks (e.g., CJIS, FedRAMP/GovRAMP, HIPAA).
