Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of architectural planning and technical direction for sophisticated open-source AI systems, spanning initial design to live deployment and performance tuning.
- Serve as the main technical liaison for clients, diagnosing business needs, uncovering AI-driven opportunities, and clearly conveying technical details to diverse audiences.
- Deliver expert advice on open-source AI technologies, including frameworks, libraries, platforms, and tools such as PyTorch, JAX, Kubeflow, Ray, MCP, and open-source large language models.
- Design detailed technical architectures covering data workflows, model training and deployment, MLOps, security protocols, and system integrations.
- Partner with sales and business development to showcase capabilities, present solution approaches, and support the creation of proposals and project scopes.
- Keep current with emerging trends in open-source AI, produce technical content, and participate in industry events and public speaking opportunities.
- Engage with open-source AI and machine learning communities through contributions to projects and active participation.
- Proactively identify and address technical risks across all stages of project execution.
