About the Role

The role involves managing compliance processes for software updates in connected vehicle platforms, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and internal quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead compliance assessments for software updates across vehicle systems
  • Develop and maintain audit-ready documentation for regulatory submissions
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate compliance checks into development workflows
  • Monitor evolving automotive software regulations and standards
  • Conduct internal reviews to verify update traceability and version control
  • Support certification processes for over-the-air software delivery
  • Identify compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Work with legal and security teams to address software lifecycle requirements
  • Ensure compliance activities align with functional safety standards
  • Manage third-party audit preparations and responses
  • Track compliance metrics and report findings to stakeholders
  • Maintain a centralized compliance knowledge base
  • Advise development teams on regulatory implications of software changes
  • Coordinate with quality assurance to validate update integrity
  • Support incident investigations related to non-compliant software releases
  • Implement tools and processes to streamline compliance workflows
  • Train team members on compliance protocols and updates
  • Ensure data privacy requirements are met during software deployment
