Responsibilities
- Architect and develop native Windows desktop applications using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and C++ when necessary.
- Establish and uphold coding standards for application structure, efficiency, memory management, responsive design, compatibility across Windows 10 and later versions, and long-term code maintainability.
- Lead accessibility integration by implementing and testing support for Windows accessibility frameworks such as Microsoft UI Automation, ensuring proper focus handling, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and inclusive design.
- Partner with product designers, UX researchers, quality assurance, and other teams to guide feature development, user experience planning, and strategic direction for the Windows platform.
- Own features throughout their entire lifecycle—from concept and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support—ensuring consistent quality and reliability.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve advanced technical issues including performance degradation, memory leaks, rendering defects, and system compatibility challenges, proposing scalable design or architectural fixes.
