Responsibilities
- Lead the development and ownership of security features such as web application firewall, runtime application self-protection, API security, interactive application security testing, and software composition analysis across multiple language libraries, primarily in .NET or Java.
- Guide initiatives from early prototypes to fully deployed, reliable, and maintainable systems, writing production-safe code that integrates into thousands of live applications.
- Take full operational responsibility for your systems, including monitoring key metrics like performance, timeouts, and resource costs, and resolving complex, cross-service issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer-impacting problems quickly and effectively, minimizing downtime and improving system resilience.
- Influence technical direction by helping define objectives and key results, breaking down large initiatives into parallelizable tasks for engineering teams.
- Lead design discussions and request for comment processes to align multiple security library teams on common architectures and standards.
- Collaborate with product, backend, and frontend teams to transform product concepts and security research into widely adopted customer features.
