The Job at a Glance
We're looking for a full stack Software Engineer with 5-7 years of experience. You’ll be working directly with our engineering team, product team, and business stakeholders across other departments to develop our customer-facing repairs & maintenance management solution that transforms the way foodservice operators run their businesses. You’ll gain valuable experience in all these areas alongside the small, nimble team who is focused on this product, and you’ll have growth opportunities as all of our products continue to evolve and expand across our customer base. A Typical Day
Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-focused solutions
Build, enhance, and maintain full stack applications leveraging a modern tech stack
Create and optimize data workflows, reporting solutions, and dashboards
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to streamline workflows
Design and build AI-driven features that enhance our user experience
Troubleshoot technical challenges, identify root causes, and contribute to practical, maintainable solutions
Improve application quality and reliability through thoughtful QA practices
Work with our internal team to identify business challenges and provide creative solutions to achieve quality and process improvements.
To Land This Opportunity
You have 5 - 7 years of software engineering experience, including a strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript
You know and love our tech stack! Backend: Node.js with TypeScript, PostgreSQL database, deployed on AWS. Frontend: Vue.js with Vuetify. Mobile: React Native.
You have strong SQL skills and are comfortable using AI tools to enhance development workflows and user experiences
You collaborate well across teams and enjoy contributing to shared project goals
You’re a strong problem solver who can communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
You care about the end-user experience and enjoy turning feedback into meaningful product improvements
You’re comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional environments
You value clean, pragmatic software design and thoughtful engineering decisions
You take pride in building reliable testing and documentation, improving software quality through thoughtful engineering practices
Optionally, you also have experience with BigQuery, dbt, Looker, and/or other BI tools

The salary range for this role is $117,683 to $158,817 annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Parts Town is a pay-for-performance company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role.
