Droisys is hiring a Senior Software Engineer- Project Lead

Responsibilities

  • Client Interactive Search and Shopping Platforms group is looking for a talented Software Engineer to join its engineering team.
  • Candidate will be doing technical design, writing code, and developing the sites, tools, and services that power Search.com, mySimon.com, and many more new and exciting sites.
  • Candidate will be working regularly with Business, QA, Design, and other Engineering team members to define and develop solutions and features

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience designing, building, and maintaining large consumer-facing web sites
  • Solid experience with the whole SDLC, from project inception through development on to maintenance
  • Superior object-oriented architecture and design skills
  • Solid professional experience with a range of web technologies (HTTP, HTML, css, js, Java/JSP, PHP), preferably using Symphony or other PHP framework
  • Extensive experience with modern javascript technologies (jQuery, jQuery mobile) and OOP patterns within js frameworks
  • Proficiency working with Apache or Nginx web servers and within Linux development environments
  • Solid experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, preferably MySQL and Mongo DB
  • Proficiency with software version control, build and deployment technologies (Git, SVN, Bamboo, RPM)
  • Experience with Agile or other similar development methodologies
  • Self-motivated and accountable
  • Strong and effective communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency with HTML5/CSS3 with understanding and demonstrated abilities of the balance between responsive design and Legacy browser support
  • Experience with A/B testing

Work Arrangement

On-site — San Francisco, CA

  • Contract type: Long Term
  • Must be GC/Citizen, locals preferred
