Responsibilities
- Apply test-driven development methodologies to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
- Produce clean, efficient code and actively engage in peer code reviews to promote software engineering excellence.
- Develop scalable, reusable services and APIs using technologies including Typescript, Node.js, AWS, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and React.
- Work closely with engineers and technical leads across disciplines to align on system design and implementation.
- Take end-to-end ownership of technical deliverables with a focus on timely, high-quality execution.
- Mentor less experienced engineers through guidance, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve live production incidents and system outages.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support system stability and rapid response to issues.
- Design and implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect application problems.
