Responsibilities
- Work closely with all members of the Order Management squad and the Staff Engineer of the group.
- Participate in bi-monthly rituals with the group and Chapter to share learnings and align technical direction.
- Produce, innovate, and share by facilitating discussions around complex issues.
- Suggest or make improvements to existing designs and architecture for quarter-bounded projects or mission-critical areas.
- Explore technologies with sizable potential impact for the team.
- Actively contribute to high impact chaos mitigation.
- Identify and advocate for prioritization of tasks that optimize delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years backend development experience
- Strong system design skills
- Experience with microservices, distributed systems
- Deep understanding of data architecture and APIs
- Experience with performance optimization and scalability
- Fullstack mindset with end-to-end product thinking
- Curiosity about the full stack
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity across technical domains
- English must be fluent as the team is international
