Responsibilities
- Design, build, and sustain robust Android applications with an emphasis on scalability, speed, and intuitive user interaction
- Work hand-in-hand with iOS, backend, and feature-specific teams to synchronize feature requirements and ensure seamless integration across platforms
- Lead technical upgrades throughout the codebase, including architectural refinements and modernization efforts, while maintaining accurate technical documentation
- Improve application responsiveness and usability by optimizing user interfaces, ensuring accessibility standards, and reducing battery and memory consumption
- Use data from analytics and performance metrics to guide improvements in app engagement, stability, and overall health
- Support and guide fellow developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and fostering a collaborative environment focused on technical quality
- Keep current with evolving Android technologies, frameworks, and best practices to enhance team productivity and product innovation
