Responsibilities
- Develop novel test stations and provide advanced support for existing ones to maintain deterministic and FAA-compliant production lines.
- Create and maintain Python test software and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) infrastructure that controls the production and certification of avionics systems.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with software, hardware, and manufacturing engineers to convert complex manual acceptance procedures into reliable, fully automated software.
- Manage database schemas and ELT pipelines for storing critical test results used in downstream aerospace analytics.
- Deliver efficient user interfaces and robust backend services end-to-end within an Agile/Sprint framework, deploying through CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP, Routing) to design low-latency, reliable communication paths between test stations and aircraft hardware.
- Build asynchronous Python services and custom drivers to interface with test equipment using protocols such as gRPC, WebSockets, Modbus TCP, and SCPI/VISA.

- Target base pay range: $145,300 - $201,200 per year.
