Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and evolving high-performance backend systems that power our global solutions.
- Building and maintaining microservices-based applications with clean, efficient, and well-structured code.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and ensure quality delivery.
- Actively contributing to code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting internal and external stakeholders when needed.
- Staying current with Java trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Solid experience with Java 17 (we’re migrating to Java 21, so you’ll be part of that evolution!).
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot (currently 2.6).
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and multithreading.
- Familiarity with JUnit, MySQL, Hibernate, and version control systems (Git/SVN).
- A team-oriented mindset, proactive attitude, and a passion for solving complex problems.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka is a big plus.
