Responsibilities
- Design and maintain backend services that integrate external systems with Shopify and similar commerce platforms
- Develop and manage service and integration layers for client-specific projects
- Create and utilize APIs, with emphasis on GraphQL and REST protocols
- Implement webhook systems, asynchronous processing pipelines, and scheduled job workflows
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers across different time zones
- Ensure backend systems are scalable, high-performing, and reliable under high transaction volumes
- Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and ongoing improvements to development workflows
- Engage directly with clients to define integration needs and deliver effective technical solutions
