BitSight is looking for a Senior Software Engineer II to join our engineering team. You will architect and evolve the core data pipeline to support larger volumes via cloud data warehouses and bring actionable security insights to customers.

What You'll Do

Architect and evolve the data pipeline to support even larger volumes via cloud data warehouses.
Bring actionable security insights to the customer through integrating new data sources.
Surface new features from existing data and refine the rating algorithm.
Build trust with BitSight customers in the quality and integrity of our data.
Collaborate with data science and research teams.

What We're Looking For

Prior experience building and operating large-scale data pipelines.
Strong proficiency in modern Java language programming.
Strong computer science fundamentals in design, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience working with a team of engineers, designers, and product owners in delivering a product to end-users.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with Python 2 & 3.
Experience with Hadoop and Spark ecosystems.
Experience with Data Lakehouse tech stack, e.g. Apache Iceberg.
Experience with CI/CD and Kubernetes.
Experience working in the IT security domain.
