Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable backend services that support customer-facing platforms
- Develop clean, efficient Golang code to implement features and fix issues independently
- Create and manage RESTful APIs and integrate services using configuration-driven architectures
- Take ownership of evolving data models and product catalog systems across business domains
- Maintain event streaming systems using Kafka with attention to Avro schema compatibility
- Support cloud operations on AWS, including S3, CloudFront, DNS, and SSL certificate management
- Participate in on-call duties and troubleshoot live issues in distributed environments
- Guide junior engineers and lead technical discussions across functional teams
- Promote and integrate AI-powered development tools into everyday workflows
