Forum Ventures is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Grants for Public Funding to develop and enhance an AI-driven platform that empowers impact-driven companies to secure grant funding. You will work across the entire technology stack to create efficient, scalable solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain features across the full technology stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with Svelte, Python, PostgreSQL (Neon), Terraform, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proven track record of building and shipping production-ready web applications.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Meaningful experience building products in startup environments.
- Strong collaborator, and highly effective in a remote environment.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI/ML technologies and integrations.
- Familiarity with grant funding processes or impact-driven sectors (climate, healthcare, defense, and deep tech).
- Contributions to open-source projects.
