What You'll Do
Design and enhance core fintech products integrated into a global travel platform, focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance. Work in an agile environment to quickly prototype and refine features using modern tools and cloud infrastructure. You'll make key architectural decisions within a distributed system landscape and contribute to services that power critical customer-facing capabilities.
Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering teams to align technical solutions with business goals. Provide and incorporate feedback to foster continuous improvement, and help shape engineering practices in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve rapidly.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in distributed systems and the trade-offs involved in scalable, maintainable architectures
- Proven ability to lead technical direction with minimal oversight, adapting to ambiguity and shifting objectives
- Strong commitment to code quality, testing, and system performance
- Experience working in cross-functional teams alongside product, data, and frontend specialists
- Hands-on cloud platform experience, with familiarity in designing for high availability
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies in production settings
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Scala or React ecosystems
- Exposure to travel, airline, or eCommerce domains
- Experience with UX design tools such as Figma
Technical Stack
Primary technologies include Scala, React, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), OpenAPI, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub. You’ll work across the stack to build and maintain services that integrate with global partners at scale.
