The role involves designing and maintaining frontend systems that empower product teams to build high-quality web experiences efficiently and consistently.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable frontend architecture for web applications
- Collaborate with product teams to understand their development challenges
- Develop reusable UI components and design systems
- Optimize application performance and loading times
- Improve developer workflows and tooling
- Establish best practices for frontend coding standards
- Troubleshoot and debug complex frontend issues
- Mentor engineers across teams on frontend technologies
- Evaluate and integrate new frontend frameworks and libraries
- Ensure consistent user experience across platforms
- Support testing strategies including unit and integration tests
- Drive adoption of modern JavaScript and TypeScript standards
- Work closely with design and product to align technical solutions
- Monitor frontend error reporting and performance metrics
- Contribute to documentation for internal tools and systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with monorepo tooling such as Nx or Turborepo
- Background in developer experience or internal tools
- Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures
- Contributions to open-source frontend projects
- Knowledge of GraphQL and API integration patterns
