Responsibilities
- Create and maintain reusable, accessible UI components in React and TypeScript, ensuring alignment with design tokens, theming options, and comprehensive Storybook documentation.
- Lead the development of AI-enhanced development workflows, integrating tools like Claude Code and MCP servers with Figma and Storybook to automate design-to-code translation.
- Build and maintain backend services, automation scripts, and tooling for CI/CD, design operations, and compliance validation using Python and Node.js.
- Ensure end-to-end quality by writing automated tests, conducting accessibility audits (WCAG 2.2 AA), cross-browser testing, and self-review prior to deployment.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for the developer community, offering support, hosting office hours, delivering presentations, and fostering trust in the design system.
- Independently collect and interpret feedback from developers to define requirements, prioritize work, and deliver solutions with rapid iteration cycles.
- Enhance the platform's data visualization features by applying data science expertise and integrating analytics-driven functionality where relevant.
- Take shared ownership of team duties across the development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and internal outreach activities.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging AI and developer tools, piloting advancements such as AI-generated documentation and intelligent coding assistants.
- Offer technical guidance to junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional partners in design and accessibility, and comply with enterprise standards including security and GxP.
