Zus Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the ‘Costco’ team within our core Data Platform. You will build and operate services that manage rapidly growing bulk data offerings while adhering to complex healthcare access control requirements. Your work will directly process, store, and deliver health records for millions of patients, adopting tools to handle scale and ensure high data quality and freshness.

What You'll Do

Build and operate data services driving our applications and APIs.
Collaborate with team members and across Engineering to iteratively prototype and develop new functionality.
Partner with product managers and other Zusers.

What We're Looking For

You are experienced using Cloud Data Warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
You have experience with at least one of the following: deployment technologies (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.), cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).

Nice to Have

Experience working with petabyte-scale data.
Experience with Apache Iceberg, Apache Spark, and other large-scale data technologies.
Experience with AuthN/AuthZ and fine-grained access control.
Familiarity with multiple languages including either Go or Python.
Experience working with healthcare data and APIs.
Familiarity with the FHIR and/or TEFCA standards.
