About the Role
The candidate will lead the development and optimization of data ingestion systems that connect to a wide range of healthcare providers and data formats, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-volume data ingestion pipelines
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple sources
- Collaborate with product and clinical teams to understand data needs
- Optimize data transfer protocols for performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve live system issues promptly
- Maintain documentation for data workflows and interfaces
- Work with third-party APIs and legacy healthcare systems
- Support compliance with healthcare data privacy standards
- Improve monitoring and alerting for data pipelines
- Evaluate new technologies for data integration
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and system design discussions
- Scale infrastructure to handle growing data volumes
- Ensure fault tolerance in distributed systems
- Contribute to architectural decisions for data platforms
- Integrate structured and unstructured data formats
- Develop tools for internal data validation
- Assist in onboarding new data partners
- Monitor system performance and latency metrics
- Refactor legacy components for improved maintainability
