Shape the foundation of a transformative product as a Senior Software Engineer on the Core Experiences team. You'll design and maintain the underlying services and SDKs that power a cross-platform experience used by millions, bridging infrastructure and product to deliver fast, intelligent, and accessible solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with product teams to define project scope and prioritize deliverables that enable rapid customer feedback
- Balance integration needs and user experience tradeoffs across multiple platforms
- Develop and refine cross-platform SDKs to improve performance, loading speed, and parsing accuracy
- Design clean, scalable abstractions and optimize algorithms for efficiency
- Build and deploy cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and background jobs using Kotlin

- Comfort making tradeoffs and navigating technical constraints to deliver user value quickly
Preferred Background
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform
- Familiarity with Java (secondary to Kotlin for this role)
- Experience deploying and managing services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
