Smartly is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Campaign Automation & Optimization

Responsibilities

  • Create, develop, and sustain backend and frontend systems that enable campaign automation and optimization functionalities.
  • Participate in technical and architectural choices to enhance scalability, reliability, and developer efficiency.
  • Build and advance services including Triggers, Ad Rotation, Actions, and Action Router.
  • Work with product managers, designers, and engineers from various teams to provide solutions meeting customer requirements.
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, considering immediate needs and future sustainability.
  • Enhance system quality via automated testing, monitoring, and ongoing refinement of engineering methods.
  • Guide engineers through code reviews, sharing knowledge, and technical partnerships.
  • Assist in defining the company's target architecture by engaging in cross-team projects and platform enhancements.
