Responsibilities
- Design and sustain core components of the trading engine, emphasizing the Aeron-based messaging transport infrastructure
- Create messaging solutions optimized for low latency and high availability across unicast, multicast, and inter-process communication channels
- Optimize system performance by tuning CPU affinity, NUMA architecture, kernel bypass techniques, and network buffer configurations
- Enhance and maintain integrations with Aeron Archive to support reliable message replay and stream durability
- Develop secure, resilient systems that protect data integrity and mitigate operational risks
- Produce clean, modular, and high-performance code that is both testable and reusable
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support product development and strategic roadmap execution
- Collaborate effectively within a distributed engineering team, using strong communication skills to align with technical and non-technical stakeholders
