About the Role

We are looking for skilled and enthusiastic engineers to build robust backend services and engage in merchant-focused research, identifying real-world challenges and developing effective technical solutions to support small and large businesses across Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and manage high-performing, secure, and maintainable software systems with comprehensive testing practices.
Implement advanced architectural designs and infrastructure standards, ensuring system reliability and monitoring performance after deployment.
Work closely with technical and non-technical partners throughout the product development cycle, from concept to launch.
Take initiative in optimizing team processes and engineering practices to improve productivity and delivery speed.
Guide junior team members through mentorship and promote ongoing learning and growth within the engineering group.

The team builds tools for diverse merchants across Southeast Asia through the GrabMerchant Super App and Portal, using transaction data to deliver actionable insights and features that boost efficiency and customer engagement, with a strong focus on system stability and quality across Indonesia and Singapore.
