Responsibilities
- Develop distributed systems that are scalable, dependable, and fault-tolerant using Python and FastAPI
- Take ownership of team-specific systems and continuously evaluate and enhance their performance and stability
- Promote high engineering standards through rigorous testing, monitoring, observability, and performance tuning
- Help shape the team's long-term technical direction and architectural strategy
- Engage in code and design reviews to maintain consistent best practices across related systems
- Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering teams to maintain alignment and technical coherence
- Take part in on-call duties to support the stability of live systems
