About the Role
The team is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design and implementation of AI-driven software tools that improve developer productivity and system reliability. This role involves building robust backend systems, refining AI models in production, and collaborating across teams to deliver intelligent solutions.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable backend services for AI-enabled development platforms
- Optimize machine learning pipelines for performance and accuracy in real-world environments
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI models into production-grade tools
- Improve code quality and system reliability through automated testing and monitoring
- Design APIs that enable smooth interaction between development tools and AI components
- Lead code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making across engineering teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in distributed systems
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met across AI tooling infrastructure
- Develop reusable frameworks to accelerate AI integration across projects
- Mentor junior engineers in best practices for software and AI system design
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies for potential adoption in development workflows
- Drive improvements in deployment speed and system observability
- Work closely with product teams to translate user needs into technical solutions
- Maintain documentation for complex system components and integration points
- Support incident response and root cause analysis for critical tooling issues
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or related discipline
