Laioutr GmbH is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (AI Agents & Frontend Automation) to build the AI layer of our Frontend Management Platform. You will design and build autonomous AI systems that execute tasks across content, UX, and analytics for commerce brands worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Design and build AI Agents inside Laioutr that create, validate, analyze, and automate tasks across components, content, and markets.
- Develop, integrate, and scale AI Agents that perform autonomous content, UX, and analytics tasks.
- Build agent pipelines including tool usage, orchestration, memory, retrieval, and caching.
- Design Agent Actions that can modify layouts, components, content models, markets, translations, and campaigns.
- Integrate agents into the Next.js/Nuxt-powered frontend layer.
- Implement secure multi-tenant AI features including rate limits, isolation, logging, and observability.
- Work closely with Product & Design to translate ideas into concrete AI features.
- Drive architectural decisions for Laioutr’s AI layer.
- Evaluate new LLM and agentic technologies like OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, embeddings, and vectorstores.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with TypeScript.
- Professional experience with Next.js, Nuxt, Vue, or React.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, etc.).
- Practical understanding of tool use / function calling, structured outputs, and agentic workflows.
- Familiarity with RAG, vectorstores, and retrieval patterns.
- Strong knowledge of API design, middleware, and modern auth (JWT/OAuth).
- Product-minded, independent working style.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Vercel, serverless runtimes, edge functions.
- Knowledge of headless commerce (Shopify, Shopware, commercetools, BigCommerce).
- Interest in UX automation and content workflows.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, AI SDKs, or custom agent frameworks.
