Responsibilities
- Designing and building multi-tier web applications using technologies including ASP.Net 4.0, C#, VB.NET, Silverlight, AJAX, Entity Framework, jQuery, MVC, and JavaScript.
- Creating software solutions with relational databases, primarily Microsoft SQL Server and SSRS.
- Helping document business requirements gathered from user sessions and design discussions.
- Supporting application testing efforts to produce necessary deliverables such as code, documentation, and test strategies.
- Evaluating user needs and system requirements to assess design viability and convert them into technical specifications.
- Building, updating, and deploying new business applications, components, and features using analytical methods and mathematical modeling to assess performance.
- Improving existing and new business applications through modifications and enhancements to boost functionality and efficiency.
- Participating in code reviews to verify compliance with defined specifications.
- Developing test scenarios and performing system audits.
- Executing software system setup and integration tasks.
- Gathering and assessing user input on reporting, cost, tracking, review, and security needs to inform hardware decisions.
- Handling issues related to business applications and data movement.
- Assisting in diagnosing and resolving application problems of moderate to high complexity across business, management, or technical domains.
- Conducting data analysis to meet internal and external business objectives.
- Utilizing up-to-date hardware, software, commercial applications, and tools to deliver effective application solutions.
- Enabling communication between various business units and technical teams to support daily application operations.
- Upholding established change management practices and maintaining source code repository integrity.
