Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and implementation of large-scale, high-performance services and integrations from initial concept through to live deployment.
- Define and steer technical strategy by making critical architectural choices that influence team priorities and long-term planning.
- Support and develop engineers through mentorship, design feedback, and rigorous code review processes to elevate overall team quality.
- Take full ownership of complex, open-ended challenges, decomposing them into actionable steps and driving execution to completion.
- Advocate for system reliability, monitoring capabilities, automated processes, and high operational standards across all stages of development.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Data, Infrastructure, and other engineering units to align on goals and execution.
- Remain actively involved in coding, producing clean, sustainable, and thoroughly tested software components.
