Lumilens is hiring a Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain C# and .NET desktop applications for advanced optical transceiver testing in manufacturing environments, using MVVM patterns with support for multi-threaded test execution, instrument resource coordination, and remote procedure call services.
  • Develop and maintain hardware drivers and control logic for laboratory instruments, ensuring reliable parallel test operations and managing complex resource locking across multiple devices.
  • Create and integrate Python-based test scripts and libraries into the core .NET application, enabling powerful, embedded testing capabilities that combine the strengths of both platforms.
  • Build and optimize software systems deployed on high-volume manufacturing lines, supporting daily production of thousands of units with reliability and precision.
