Responsibilities
- Design and implement software components using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud platforms
- Work closely with architects, systems engineers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders during all stages of product development
- Articulate technical direction and strategic vision to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Create and manage data architectures, data models, and data processing layers across multiple databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Elastic Search, and Redis
- Build end-to-end system components covering database, application logic, user interface, and external integrations
- Collaborate daily with Agile teams and product owners in a fast-paced delivery environment
- Adapt swiftly to evolving requirements and project scope changes
- Maintain comprehensive technical and system documentation
- Engage in project planning, task breakdown, and effort estimation activities
- Develop and update architectural design documents and related artifacts
- Guide junior developers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing to promote coding standards and effective problem solving
- Support testing workflows by creating unit and integration tests and contributing to release cycles
- Conduct peer reviews of code, system designs, and architectural decisions
- Lead technical exploration efforts including design spikes and proof-of-concept implementations
- Assess third-party software tools and libraries for integration suitability
- Deliver precise and well-reasoned estimates for development tasks
- Assist in resolving live production issues, including participation in on-call rotations
- Monitor AWS infrastructure and application performance to ensure system stability, responsiveness, and uptime
- Utilize AI-powered development and operations tools to shorten delivery timelines and improve root cause analysis
- Apply AI coding assistants like GitHub CoPilot, Cursor, and Claude Code to enhance code generation, refactoring, test creation, log analysis, and incident resolution while maintaining code quality and compliance
- Continuously assess and integrate new AI-driven tools and methodologies to boost engineering efficiency, reduce manual workloads, and improve system observability
