Responsibilities
- Lead development efforts for Laravel-based applications, overseeing design, implementation, and deployment phases.
- Design and manage the transition of outdated CodeIgniter systems to modern Laravel frameworks, focusing on performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- Utilize AI-powered coding assistants such as Claude Code or similar tools to enhance development speed, code integrity, testing coverage, and documentation accuracy.
- Guide junior developers through mentorship and encourage team-wide knowledge exchange.
- Produce well-structured, secure, and optimized code with thorough documentation and testing practices.
- Conduct code reviews and approve peer submissions to ensure consistency and high-quality standards.
- Engage in Agile workflows including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings using Microsoft Teams.
- Log work hours and project progress accurately using internal tracking platforms.
- Stay current with evolving security protocols and contemporary software engineering methodologies.
- Take initiative in problem-solving, skill development, and ongoing professional advancement.
