Responsibilities

  • Lead development efforts for Laravel-based applications, overseeing design, implementation, and deployment phases.
  • Design and manage the transition of outdated CodeIgniter systems to modern Laravel frameworks, focusing on performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Utilize AI-powered coding assistants such as Claude Code or similar tools to enhance development speed, code integrity, testing coverage, and documentation accuracy.
  • Guide junior developers through mentorship and encourage team-wide knowledge exchange.
  • Produce well-structured, secure, and optimized code with thorough documentation and testing practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and approve peer submissions to ensure consistency and high-quality standards.
  • Engage in Agile workflows including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings using Microsoft Teams.
  • Log work hours and project progress accurately using internal tracking platforms.
  • Stay current with evolving security protocols and contemporary software engineering methodologies.
  • Take initiative in problem-solving, skill development, and ongoing professional advancement.
  • Advocate for user-centric design principles and empathetic technology solutions.
