Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and structural planning of bioinformatics software systems
- Develop efficient, modular, and maintainable C/C++ implementations of bioinformatics algorithms
- Gain deep understanding of algorithmic principles, assess computational complexity, and devise optimal implementation strategies
- Build and maintain data processing pipelines for both on-premises and cloud-based environments
- Oversee performance optimization, system integration, testing procedures, and resolution of software defects
